RAW Adventures is based in Llanberis, a village at the very foot of Yr Wyddfa/Snowdon in the Snowdonia National Park. We are very often found on Yr Wyddfa for work, rest and play...and running!
We provide a professional and personal Mountain Leading service to assist any group wanting to climb the mountain. Groups include:
- Individuals and friends
- Family groups
- Event safety
- Charity Challenge teams
- Corporate teams
- Schools and Youth Clubs
- Large scale events
The one thing these people all have in common is the desire to ascend the highest mountain in England and Wales – safely and enjoyably. Both Kate and Ross, and all our #TeamRAW Mountain Leaders are very familiar with Snowdon and its history, environment, popular walking routes and quiet cwms (valleys).
We can run events on dates to suit you, or you can choose to join an Open Climb Snowdon event operating throughout the year where you will walk with other like-minded people to make up a small group.
We work closely with Snowdonia Taxi to offer transfers around Yr Wyddfa/Snowdon for groups and individuals. Please contact them directly by calling 01286 872447 if you need support for any extra journeys during your stay in Snowdonia. Be sure to mention RAW Adventures when booking your journey.

* ‘Winter’ is when we plan to walk when there is snow on the mountain, requiring extra winter kit and equipment – conditions dependent.
